Basic properties of point-to-point links that can be configured include transmission rate and propagation delay.
o The propagation delay is specified by the attribute named delay, which is normally set to the value Distance Based.
The value of this attribute together with the distance between the nodes is used to determine the propagation delay on the link, when the attri- bute delay is set to Distance Based, which is the default value.
r delay-specifies the propagation delay on this link.
If needed, you can explicitly specify the propagation delay value to be experienced by the traffic traversing this link.
